For Literacy today we have learned a new thing that is put into poetry’s, it is Alliteration which is when words that start with the same letter repeat which could make it rhyme (Examples are on the 3rd&4th slide). Do you understand Alliteration? Do you use Alliteration? Do you like Alliteration?
Today in our Literacy classroom we learnt about Hyperbole’s, Hyperbole’s are exaggeration sentences and what you put in Poets like a Stanza which is Poetic lines or paragraphs. Do you know how to write poets? Do you know your hyperbole’s?
In Maths class we started learning how to measure mass. we had to get into groups, my Group’s first rotation was Capacity 2, Where you had to pour water in 2 containers that were different, one cup shaped and one rectangle shaped. (you can see the picture on the 4th slide). Do you like Mass? Do you know what Capacity is?
Then my Group’s second rotation was Mass Scale it was an small scale and we had to weight 3 things as seen on the 2nd slide, I weighted hand sanitiser, TV remote and a book so the mass’s were 140, 130, 160 in that order. Do you use a Mass scale? What 3 things would you scale?
After that my Group had Capacity rotation 1 which was pouring water into cups or measuring cups, if we wanted to measure a teaspoon we used a tiny syringe. The capacity of one cup is 250L, a plastic cup is 200L and a teaspoon is 4ml (you can see on the 3rd slide). Do you use measuring cups? Did you know these stuff?
That is all for this blog post have a colourful day!
In Literacy today we were given the task to learn about personification in poetry, we even learnt about “The Rose That Grew From Concrete” by Tupac Shakur, we found out that it has a deeper meaning. have you heard about this poetry? do you know personification? do you like personification? why do you think authors use it?
On this Rainy and Sunny day we had to educate ourselves in how to make a satisfying quality blog post that pop out, We Learnt that we need to make attention attracting titles, put labels that relate to the topic and a description that makes sense and will inspire others to explore this/your post. On this presentation we had an example of what a good quality post should look like and next slide was us helping the person named John also make a nice looking post so it’s not basic and plain. Is there anything you think I should fix up? Do you put these things in your posts? Or do you put different things in your posts?
